Talk About Tuesday!!

This is my daughter and her cousin! Kayden, my daughter, is 3 months and 2 weeks old Sterling is 6 weeks older!
Cousin Sterling was born 5 weeks premature, and had some difficulties to begin with, but has really been coming along magnificently. Kayden was born exactly on her due date, and has been growing fast @ 3 months old she is already in 6 month clothing:) They are pretty much the same size!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is so neat to watch the 2 of them together, and see how healthy they both are!

Frugal Friday - Listed on Tuesday:)

A couple of things I have done to try and earn a little extra are:http://www.inbox.com/ and http://www.cashcrate.com/ . I've earned about $10 on each in the last 2 weeks. I haven't been very faithful with going on each day.

On Cash Crate when you fill out the info, you just click on 2 offers then exit out. I have still been credited for most, even though I don't complete the whole thing. Because, of course I don't want to apply for a bunch of credit cards, or buy things i don't want, just for a couple dollars:) You can use my email krisijo@gmail.com to sign up these, if you like!

They aren't much so far, but hoping to get more if i become more faithful, and learn more about them!

Craft Day!!!

Craft Day was great, I think we all enjoyed ourselves! My older sister showed us all how to make headbands and hair bows. It was amazing, how you could take the same ribbon, put it in a different order, and come up with so many beautiful different patterns!
It was difficult at first, but once we all caught onto the weaving pattern, they really came together, and went much quicker! I can't wait to do more for all my girls!

The 2 youngest cousins, got to know each other a little as they laid together, grabbing each others hands, and tugging on each others toys, it was adorable!

We are all looking forward to getting together again in the Spring!

Day 6 Hollywood then HOME!!!

So this morning we checked out of motel, and headed to Hollywood to check out the Walk of Fame. We ran into a bunch of people dressed up as different movie characters. Never having been there before, we didn't realize they depend on getting tips for pictures and autographs. We didn't bring cash! But my son was so happy to see Jack Black, Zorro, Spider Man, etc. They were going straight up to them for autographs, and they were already posing for pictures by the time we could spit out that we had no cash! Some of them were OK about it but others were quite rude! I was a little irritated, because we were trying to walk through them without stopping at all of them, feeling bad I didn't have cash, but they ask the kids if they want pictures and then are rude when they found out there is no money! I don't think that is very fair. So I gave up on feeling bad and just started taking pictures.
Then we were back on the road heading home to get my 2 girls that were at Grandmas!

California Trip day 5

Splash City is the destination today! We were going to go to Magic Mountain, But the youngest (7) Cried up to every roller coaster we went on, even though she enjoyed it when she went:( So we went to the water park! Still there was crying just looking at the water slides, so her dad pretty much just hung out in the Wave pool with her, while i took the others on the slides! It was a great day we stayed there until closing)

Day 4 California

California Adventure! It was even hotter today, and no shade over these lines:( I thought it would be so much fun, the kids wouldn't want to complain:) But, the heat and the long lines didn't go over well:(

So we went on all the most popular rides! The Toy Story Ride was one of the favorites, and of course the Big Roller coaster. I think I enjoyed the Flight over California Ride the most, It is amazing how sitting in a seat with a movie screen all around you, can feel so real.It felt like you could just reach out and touch everything.

It only took about 4 hours to go on everything we wanted, so then we headed back over to Disneyland, to get our autographs. On the way out we ran into Chip & Dale, Stitch, and Minnie and Pluto.

We got over to Disneyland and the parade was just about to begin. We had the best spot! We were in the middle with the benches. The girls stood right at the edge of the road, and all the characters were talking right to them! They even got some High-Fives.

When the Parade was all over we went over to Town Hall and found out where some of the other characters were so we could get pictures and autographs!

Day 3

Today is Sunday, Off to Disneyland! The kids are very excited! It was really packed, and very hot. So unfortunately it didn't take to long for the complaining to begin! We Pretty much looked for the main rides and went on them. But there was up to a 45 minute wait at most of them. Luckily there did seem to be some shade in the lines. We didn't see many characters today, so we didn't get any autographs.

We ended up cutting leaving after about 6 hours, the kids wanted to go swim. So back to the pool!!!

California Trip day 2

The 2nd day we were off to Universal Studios! We went to the Water World Show first and the kids love it! My son wants to see the movie now, but the movie store in town doesn't care it anymore. He was very disappointed:(

The kids enjoyed the tour, we ended up in the back, which the kids were a little disappointed about. But it was all worth it when we were visiting the Bates Motel, and Mr Bates was coming at us and ended with knife in hand right beside my boyfriend, Kevin as we were driving off:)

We did get a nice view of the demonstration on how they blow up cars also. I was pretty happy to get such a good picture.

Then we were off to all the other rides, the kids really enjoyed the Simpson's ride!

While we were in line for the Back draft, the Scoobey Doo gang drove by and waved to us. That was the last excitement of the day, then back to the Motel to swim for the evening!

Our California Trip

This summer we took a vaction to California. An 18 hour drive with 4 kids. My oldet didn't want to go, because she couldn't bring a friend and she really wanted to go to Sea World, but Sea World wasn't on our list this time. So she stayed with the baby @ Grandmas house. I know Grandma enjoyed having them for the week, but I sure missed them.

So we had my 2 other children, and my boyfriends 2 children. We made sure we headed out at night so the kids would sleep on the way, but that didn't go over so well. They were so excited about getting their, the girls didn't sleep well. So we ended up hearing a lot more "Are we there yet"s then we had wanted:)

We got to our motel about 4:00! We hit the LA traffic we didn't figure in. I guess it starts around 2 like it does in the Seattle area! So we settled in got some Little Ceaser Pizza, and went swimmimg!
